I was always fascinated with the big screen, so I took some film classes when I got to college. It taught me the fundamentals of capturing raw footage and editing videos to produce incredible visuals.
I thoroughly enjoyed the process, so I decided to start freelancing as a video producer, as it would allow me to pursue my passion while traveling across the country, which is a dream come true.
I can be in New York or Florida working on a television production one month, and the following month shooting a corporate video a little closer to home. It’s this unpredictable schedule that has kept my role exciting over the past fifteen years.
During this period, I’ve noticed that technology has driven the industry forward, with better cameras and equipment available. However, while we’ve evolved from standard definition to 8K, you still need to understand how to create captivating videos to please the client.
Whether it’s working with a Fortune 500 company or a family that lives the simple life on a converted school bus, I’m able to deliver an exceptional customer experience for various kinds of people, industries, and genres, which has made me successful.
I also attribute my success to always giving my best as my philosophy is that if you work hard, the rest will follow. Besides, I render honest feedback, which leads to producing impactful videos.
Consequently, when clients are overjoyed with the final product, and it achieves the desired outcome, it’s rewarding. It also satisfies my vision of consistently crafting stories that strike a chord with audiences.
When I’m not shooting videos, I love cooking, reading non-fiction, and taking pictures of my family. I also like staying up to date with the latest tech products by listening to podcasts.
I have enjoyed sharing my story about the things which matter to me and how they influence the way I do business.
